  • Chandler Nunes

    MS, RD, LDN

Chandler’s passion for nutrition started when she was in the 9th grade and personally saw how caring about the food she ate changed her health. Her journey with nutrition has not come without its hardships going through obsessing over food at times and not caring enough at others. Therefore, when Chandler hears her patients’ struggles, she can empathize and understands that her patients have real hardships to overcome. Others see it as excuses or lack of willpower, she sees it as a part of your story.

Chandler believes a person’s relationship to food has an overarching connection to their physical and mental wellbeing, and has learned to love and appreciate what food does for the body while also knowing how to listen to what the body needs. She likes to tell her patients, “How you lose weight is also how you keep it off, therefore, we have to make it sustainable,” and that, “we aren’t striving for perfection, we are aiming for consistency.”

While her own health journey wasn’t always easy, it has led her to where she is today with a healthy relationship with food, and a fire within her to help her patients with their own weight loss journeys. If you feel like you’ve “tried everything” and just can’t seem to win, Chandler understands, and she is here to help!
